In 2025, Tindale Distribuciones celebrates 30 years of history — three decades of hard work, evolution and commitment to our clients, suppliers and partners. It is a good time to look back, remember where we came from, and share where we are heading.
From a Newcastle Bakery to a European Distribution Network
The origins of Tindale date back to the 1970s, when Mr Tindale worked in a bakery in Newcastle under the supervision of Mr Stanton. In the 1980s, they decided to go into business together, bought a bakery and began producing pies (English savoury pastries), bread and cakes. Their dedication and quality led them to expand across the north and centre of the UK, supplying major retail chains. Tindale & Stanton UK eventually established branches in Yorkshire and Middlesbrough, employing more than 300 people at its peak.
Arrival in Spain: Intuition, Persistence and New Beginnings
In 1995, Tindale & Stanton Spain was founded with a small warehouse in Torrevieja, marking the start of our operations in the country. Shortly afterwards, a new warehouse was opened in Altea, with greater capacity and structure. From there, the distribution of British products began to consolidate, initially using vans imported from the UK with right-hand drive — a symbol of our heritage.
Steady Growth and Long-Term Vision
Over the years, the team broadened its approach, incorporating new business lines and progressively improving logistics, customer service and the commercial network. The incorporation of talent and strategic decision-making shaped a structure that became increasingly solid and efficient.
Since 2004, a new stage was consolidated through the direct involvement of partners committed to the company’s ongoing growth. This process culminated in 2018 with the establishment of the current management team, which has led the company’s expansion and modernisation in recent years.
Expansion, Diversification and Corporate Structure
In recent years, growth has been continuous. We have gone from receiving a single 26-pallet lorry every two months to handling between 4 and 5 lorries per week. We now have five logistics warehouses: three in Alicante, one in Mallorca, and one in the United Kingdom. Our headquarters are located in La Nucía (Alicante), with additional branches in Palma de Mallorca, Málaga, and Portugal.
In 2024, Alibe Import S.L. was established, specialising in international food and beverage trading, along with Grupo Tindale S.L., the holding company that brings together our various business units: Tindale Distribuciones, Tindale Baleares, Tindale Portugal, among others. Although we had already been operating in Portugal and the Balearic Islands for years, we now do so with independent structures better adapted to local needs.

Today, Tindale Distribuciones works with a wide network of horeca and retail establishments, both nationally and internationally. We serve everything from small businesses to large distribution groups, as well as hotel chains and specialised food and beverage operators. Our commitment is to provide an agile, personalised service tailored to each client’s needs.
Our work includes both the import and export of international products, last-mile distribution at national and international levels, and logistics management tailored to each customer. We have our own delivery fleet, trusted logistics partners, an ordering app, and a professional team ready to respond to any need.
